ROD BANNER - International VAT Associate (UK)
Rod has 15 years’ experience in VAT/GST and Intrastat management across multiple sectors, including telecoms, technology, digital and manufacturing sectors, both for national and multi-national businesses. He has led various projects in VAT process and reporting optimisation, and VAT systems integration. He has been engaged to guide and defend businesses successfully in the face of VAT audits in various jurisdictions, as well as being responsible for maintaining front end VAT compliance. Rod has also delivered various VAT solutions to optimise VAT-related, including the utilisation of specialist tax regimes to facilitate cross-border trade.
JOHN GORDON - Finance Associate (UK)
A Price Waterhouse trained chartered accountant and auditor, John is a finance professional with a demonstrable record of success in improving the quality, relevance and timeliness of the financial reporting process. Equally adept at managing teams and of working independently to achieve client goals, John has over 25 years' experience of working in professional services, for blue-chip PLCs, as well as owner-managed businesses, government agencies and the charitable sector. He has strong expertise in reporting under UK Gaap and IFRS, UK employment taxation and dispute resolution, GDPR compliance and UK public sector funding applications.
VASILY LESHCHUK - IT Associate (UK/Ukraine)
Vasily is a professional CIO, CTO, ERP Project Manager with more than 15 years in IT industry, experience in telecommunication, FMCG, consulting and education. He has a broad background in IT management, including development of strategies for IT, project management for the implementation of ERP and billing systems, building server rooms and data centres. Vasily has a proven ability to manage IT projects, software development projects, as well as implementing procedures and reports.
ALEX MAMALYHA - Marketing Associate (UK/Ukraine)
Educated in the US, Lithuania and Sweden, Alex has 10+ years’ experience in marketing, including FMCG, IT, and Sports sectors, both for Ukrainian and international (including British) businesses. He has successfully managed full scale marketing planning and execution in multiple verticals. Alex has also successfully prepared and deployed customer management strategies integrating multiple channels to deliver multi and omni-channel experience for the end customer.
VASYL NABOKA - Construction/Logistics Associate (Ukraine)
A qualified building engineer, Vasyl has 15 years' experience in Ukraine in construction and installation project management, for facilities and plant (large and small) in various sectors including food & drink, logistics, agriculture and business centres. His experience include subsequent plant and logistics management related to those facilities. Vasyl is a keen and successful amateur cyclist on mountain bikes, track and road - he was the 2018 Ukrainian road racing champion.
BORYS BODNAR - International Corporate and Personal Tax (Ukraine)
British-born into a Ukrainian emigré family, Borys has over 30 years’ professional experience in international taxation, strategy and risk and change management and providing guidance to start-ups and developing businesses. Borys has taken a lead role in banking and financial services with companies such as BNY Mellon, Deloitte Financial Services and Commerzbank, implementing and managing cross-border compliance, international regulatory and strategic change. In 2012 he moved to Switzerland to work with HSBC, before coming to Ukraine in 2019.
Borys focuses on helping to define and execute corporate strategy, manage risk and bring order and structure to complex subjects and changing environments, meeting regulatory obligations and engaging with business to provide solutions-based guidance and certainty.
